Lifeby NitinComment by muur88: i like the general idea. the surroundings seem so odd for the commentary though. seems almost like no beginning and no end. perhaps that was your intention. your added blur does not improve the image for me. though going a bit further and blurring everything but the road and the couple seems intriguing to me and would comment to me on how life passes for some before they know it and really get to experience anything of value for themselves. like waiting for retirement and then finding it was just like walking down a blurry road of hazy memories and dead grass. |

Lifeby NitinComment by dallasdux: The overcast clouds give this a look of later afternoon or dusk moreso than a morning walk. |

Lifeby NitinComment by jaysonmc: Gaussian blur in for the background? Depth just dies all of the sudden, looks a bit strange. I like the context though. |

Lifeby NitinComment by Nuzzer: 5: There are things I like about this such as the way the road disappears into the distance but the OOF portion past the walkers has an artifical feel to it - I'm not saying it is artificial though! |

Look at you.. aren't you glad we used a stunt double?by NitinComment by mssnare: This would be such a great ad. The only thing not working for me is the dof. It is so shallow that even by the time you get to the P in Pepsi you have already lost focus. It also makes it hard to tell what is in the background without looking at the title and doing a bit of thinking. At first look I thought it was a crumpled scarf and a candy cane. I think if it was increased just a small amount it would add a lot to the image. But the more I sit on this image the more I think that maybe that was your intention. Maybe by making the viewer look longer at the image and think more about it you are accomplishing what most ads cannot...holding the viewers attention. Ok, now I'm just rambling. I'm not taking anything off of my vote for the dof because I've talked myself into a state of un-decidedness on it. Great photo 7. |
