Toadstools by crikComment by giantmike: I really like the details and lighting. To me, the Edward Weston style of still life have a background the is completely unobtrusive (e.g. none of those wrinkles showing), but I'm not style expert. |

Flamingo & Palmettoby crikComment by BrennanOB: The narrow depth of field pops your subject off the background, but the resulting loss of clarity in the bill hurts a bit. I can make out the ridges in the bill that act to filter krill, but they are just slightly out of focus. nice color contrast and framing. |
