There is a brightness to some parts that the midtones seem a bit harsh then there are other parts that seem soft, almost too blurry. I don't really like how much you tried to cram into this photograph, making it too busy. |

Steel City on a "CLEAR DAY"by jessieComment by panynj: I would have cropped off the houses in the foreground. I think they draw the eyed down and away from the scene. Other than that, a great shot. I like the contrast of the dark steel plant and the light plume. |

Steel City on a "CLEAR DAY"by jessieComment by jduffett: Your highlights seem a little blown out. Nice though. After the challenge I'd like to know where exactly this was shot from. My only day for shooting was Saturday, and it was snowing, so I figured I was better off getting in close than trying something like this, so I went for a five-hour walk down Burlington St. |

Steel City on a "CLEAR DAY"by jessieComment by Kavey: Many interesting details - the dwarved houses in the foreground, the hazy view of the city behind, the repetition of the stacks and the steam/ smoke cloud. But foreground feels too busy to me and keeps drawing my eye away from the really industrial centre ground. |
