I would normally think this shot lacks impact but the steam plume is a great subject. Your exposure is bang on which makes the plume very dramatic. Nicely done.

There is so much to take in. There is a brightness to some parts that the midtones seem a bit harsh then there are other parts that seem soft, almost too blurry. I don't really like how much you tried to cram into this photograph, making it too busy.

I would have cropped off the houses in the foreground. I think they draw the eyed down and away from the scene. Other than that, a great shot. I like the contrast of the dark steel plant and the light plume.
