Great shot of the bee, although I find that the image divides up into 'bands'. The top band is blurred. The next band is the bee and its immediate surroundings. The next one is the petals below the bee and the final one is the in-focus stem at the bottom of the picture. It is this last one that creates, for me, a strange effect that reduces the potential impact of the shot. The upshot of this is that I would suggest a crop at the bottom of the frame. Great macro all the same.

nice macro shot. i think i'd like to see a closer crop to the wings if that's the visual focus of the photo...my eye views the bee and flower as the main emphasis and effect...

Nice macro. I can almost smell the flower. I like the off centered composition. I wish there was a bit more light overall, but again, nicely done.
