i wonder what this looked like 20 years ago? this really is an interesting image, and i hope it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge. it really takes time to view and appreciate an image such as this, and unfortunately, that doesn't always happen. i hope you are getting some good comments and suggestions. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come!

INteresting subject, the black and white was the righht choice for this image. The composition is perhaps a little staightforward for this to really leap out at you, but still, a solid entry.

I like that you put this in black and white, evokes memories of the grandma's old farm... while showing it's present state. I wish you would have taken a slightly more interesting angle... the fact that the tree comes out of it (which it could potentially be growing out of it but you can't tell...) really bothers me. Nice contrasts though.
