Agreed. What I would have done is put a 1-2 pixel white border around each separate photo.

okay, so this picture was NEVER supposed to see the light of day... i had done three versions: my original, a very saturated one, and this one. i had the saturated one entered and decided to change it at the last minute... meant to upload the original, and voila! i accidentally entered this one.

this was a version i was playing with to show my dad the wonders of photoshop... i was just doing a VERY rough demonstration on gaussian blur... my skills are MUCH better than this photo would lead you to believe...

yes, i'm mortified, and i'm sorry i made you look at it. :) please accept my humble apologies.
