This is very nicely done. I love the sepia you chose for this. The tones are just perfect!

Nice. You may try a couple of "tweaks" I have found can sometimes add a little more depth to an image like this. I go into the Selective Color after doing the sepia bit and add a touch of blue to the black color selection (takes very little- maybe +2- you may need to make a small counter adjustment to the black level afterwards but can do that here with the "darken" slider) and sometimes go to the "white" channel selection and reduce tinting in it. I also try sliding the "lighten/ darken" slider to the left to see if it will help the image. Sometimes the white adjustment won't do much.

To cut down on steps, I go directly to monochrome in Channel Mixer (sometimes doing levels first) and then to Selective Color. I use the "neutrals" selection to adjust the tone (usually backing off the blue say about -10 and then increase the yellow to where I like it (I usually leave the red in the middle) and then using the "lighten/ darken" slider to readjust the midtones and then the two steps above. I have also found better results lately using "Smart Sharpen" instead of Unsharp Mask, but that can sometimes depend on the image.

Hey Scott,
I really like what you did with this. The detail in the shadows has been brought out, without making it look "compressed." Nice tonal range, & nice toning job. The final result is very pleasing.

I like the effect, Scott. Can you detail them in your comments? Nice and sharp. I like the lights with their starbursts. Well done!

Oddly enticing. The title really enhances this, and there's a lot of depth in the background despite no details there.

Comment by NikonJeb:
On a strictly subjective level, this image doesn't do much for me, but the detail, lighting, and DOF are excellent. The title is terrific.
