ONION'Sby SDWComment by RolandB: This would have been a totally awsome photo without the background break. Good lighting. |

ONION'Sby SDWComment by dahkota: overlightened, i'm guessing to meet the challenge. Would like more detail in the onion half. like the testured backgound. |

OFFERING PASSAGE AS WE JOURNEYby SDWComment by BrennanOB: Lovely composition, but the contrast is just too wide for my poor crt to handle. If you could spot edit to get more detail in the shadows while getting detail in the highlights it would jump 2 or 3 points. I love the old/new comparision |

Colorful Sunsetby SDWComment by jpochard: I love sunsets. I told my hubby our next house must have an unobstructed westward view front or back :) The colors here are gorgeous, and I could just look at those clouds for quite some time. Best thing about sunsets is wait 2 minutes and you have an whole other look to enjoy. Nicely captured. |

‘Pains’ Of A Closed Textile Plantby SDWComment by jpochard: Wonderful shot with an emotional element to the story as well. I really like the crop/composition with the lines of the broken glass and the colors. A great example of looking at things just a little differently from a photographers point of view. I wouldn't change a thing. |

Autumn Reflectionby SDWComment by jpochard: Nice scoring shot and I can see why. I gave you a 7 during the challenge for this one. Some folks might think those colors are oversaturated, but I happen to really like it that way. It would make a beautiful print, as it feels very artsy to me. The reflections are awesome. The only thing I would change, and you really have little control over, is the lighting. It appears to be just a little flat. Everything else is so nice, that it's not something I'd notice right away, however. It might look a little livelier with some dodging of the upper trees just a bit. Hope this is helpful! |
