Brillianceby SDWComment by obsidian: Good shot but almost alien in colour and structure - somehow it does not look like a sky as seen from Earth. Looks like the start of a Startrek-style warp speed jump (showing my age here).
Not that that is a bad thing :-)

Brillianceby SDWComment by br o kenl o ve: I think that this photo really lives up to the name that it was given. I think it is truely 'brilliant' and the whole color scheme really works out. Maybe the cropping could've been a little different, but all in all, nice job! |

However, as I am seeing it now, it just looks dirty and uninteresting.

Having said that, interesting stuff going on, I like the blue background contrasting the b&w structure. Would've cropped just a tad more at the bottom, there's something poking into the image at the left (fence?). Nice symmetry. |
