Time Aloneby SDWComment by RobotBanjo: This does look like a painting indeed. The colors are perfect all vibrant like that. I wish I could see your wife's face better, but her not looking straight at the camera is fine as well. Beautiful capture, man. |

Time Aloneby SDWComment by sherpet: This has a very "magical" quality about it.....Wonderful leading lines, drawing one into the image. Yes, quite paintily as well, and very well done.....
I hope your wife models for you again, as it is a lovely very pleasing image..... Message edited by author 2006-06-15 02:44:16. |

Time Aloneby SDWComment by Makka: What an amazing location you've chosen there. I'd like to see her a little closer to the camera though, even at the front of the bridge perhaps. I found the secret to getting my wife interested more was to get her involved more in the ideas etc. Show her the photos and see if she has suggestions. I've used my wife now in lots of my photos, but it got her more involved in the photography side, and now it has cost me a lot of money setting her up with cameras, lenses etc too! But, it's great to have a common interest and it allows me to spend more money on gear too because she wants it aswell!:)
I'm sure you'll get some great photos of her, both in this location and others. I think it's nice when it's someone you know in photos like these too because they are wonderful for hanging around the home. I hope she does more for you! |

Time Aloneby SDWComment by eschelar: There are few better expressions of love than the sincere effort to show how beautiful another person is in your eyes...
As to the picture, it looks pretty nice, but I will say that I think your cyans are a fair bit too hot... I'm seeing strong cyan tones in the leaves... If you want to keep the color strength, try a selective hue shift... it will reduce her 'pop' from the BG though...
Because this isn't basic editing, you could also do the same thing with an adjustment layer and black out the area of her shirt... Message edited by author 2006-06-15 01:56:59. |

The Lobbyby SDWComment by raish: Should have put the cash register on the floor. Sez I, with 20-20 hindsight. Until I read your description of intentions, I can't see what the 'thing' is, or even if it's one or more things. Shame, because the picture has a good empty room mood to it. |
