MMMMM Good Pencilby waltomlComment by Swashbuckler: Great shot! That's a happy cat (and an unhappy pencil) Very good focus and depth of field. A "ten" shot would have included both ends of the pencil. Hey, you "borrow" that pencil from work! 9 Swash |

MMMMM Good Pencilby waltomlComment by Kavey: I am not keen on composition or cropping here - tip of pencil being missing, doesn't seem like a deliberate crop in that respect. Subject matter also not appealing to me. I do think that you've done a great job of getting the detail of the fur to come out so clearly. My scores are affected by the fact that pet photos don't generally appeal to me very often. Sorry! Kavey |

MMMMM Good Pencilby waltomlComment by Journey: Looks like a well trained cat. He doesn't seem so much to eat and chew on the pencil as just holding it since his owner told him to do so. It is a nice image; good lighting on the cat; good framing of the picture. It falls in the range of "cute pet" pictures for me though of which I have seen thousands. 6 Journey |
