people vs authorityby akyrosComment by Prof_Fate: I get a very rowdy chaotic feel from this pic, but technically not a good shot. nosy, some excess USM or JPG jaggies in the buildings, some overexposreu in the one building, not strait (which helps the feeling somewhat). |

people vs authorityby akyrosComment by KDO: Good idea, but choose a focal point. Not all the people seem engaged in challenging whatever is going on. The police or soldiers are hard to see, and I am unsure what they are doing. I would focus on bald man in the white t-shirt. His stance and physical appearance are certainly challenging. He makes a great image. The man in the sunglass distracts from your intent because he seems unconcerned. |

rocksby akyrosComment by Zoomdak: Nice lakeside shot. The contrast from dark to white, smooth to rough. Sunlight seems a little harsh. |

rocksby akyrosComment by damean: Nice contrast. The separation of rocks and water is too centered and lateral. |

rocksby akyrosComment by bclements: Too many rocks for me to like this photo. Maybe if you had cropped to one area, where the water (?) splashing on them, it would be more interesing. The top half is much to dark for me to get oriented to this photo. |

rocksby akyrosComment by rayg544: I perceive this to be a long way down, is it? Very nicely done. The more I look at it the more I like it! 9 |

rocksby akyrosComment by cghubbell: Highlights are blown out all over the rock surfaces causing significant loss of detail. the tonal range between the water and rocks is just too much for the camera to hold either in detail. This shot needed to be taken closer to sunrise / sunset. |

rocksby akyrosComment by brianlh: A little too much contrast for my taste, but I assume you're going to hear that a lot. One other thing that might help would eb a sense of scale... I can't tell if I'm looking at pebbles next to a stream, or humongous rocks (from afar) next to a river. |
