This is one of the best this week. The cop is what makes this shot - very candid. In an ideal world the trees wouldn't have been there but it's fine as is. Excellent focus, definition and contrast. B&W works very well here. Might have gone 640x427 on the crop and knocked out the top of the photo myself, but the sky provides some contrast too. Well done. I think this'll get a ribbon.

real nice rectangle, composition sweet, officer's in the perfect pose. did you ask permission before you started shooting? how'd the cops feel about it? sometimes they're sensitive about cameras, which is funny because cops are starting to take a lot more pictures. would like to hear why you chose black and white, you chose wisely.

You have captured the feel of the moment so well, that I can almost step into the picture. On the technical side, the tonal range, sharpness and detail are amazing, especially for the picture with such a low resolution. Excellent work, good luck!
