Maybe that's because the focus is too soft, perhaps another tree would have given you more opportunity to show a nice range of tones in the branches. The patterns and textures of the bark across the mid-section are nice . . . |

Big Treeby byetkoComment by ecmguy: Very interesting POV. The blurry foreground is a little distracting. I think this would have benefitted from a lower aperture or if the very bottom of the frame were cropped up. Still, it's a nice shot with interesting textures! (voted earlier) |
