This is so powerfull :) I regret I didn't vote ... but I had no time :/
It's one of those pictures where I stand and ask myself "Well Jack what could be done better?" and ... I have no idea :) It doesn't need anything else.A very strong shot. Congratulations!

This is a great shot Dan, and should have finished much higher.

I'm surprised to see you on the 186th place. I must admit you were my favourite for this challenge. Hoped you'd get a ribbon...

I'm really surprised this one didn't fare better. Maybe because the camera wasn't digital? ;-)

One of my favorites of the challenge, I was one of the 9s :)

Love your sense of humor! Deserved higher. I look forward to seeing you in Humor II!

Somehow I knew this was you! Curious how you did this--are we looking at a reflection, or is the camera suspended from above?

The bars being entirely silhoueted make them seem added in post. If they had some toning, and were in sharper detail, they would give me a better sense of location. An interesting photo, but a bit too isolated for me.

Wow! A garlic grater- that REEKS! er... rocks. Congrats on your top 5 with this incredibly inventive technique. It really does look like an oil painting (though perhaps more 'old master' than impressionist). ;-)
