nice idea only thing I would like to see different is if the newspaper wasn't so old looking (yes I know it is really that old) but she looks like she is living in the 70s with those headphones, LP and glasses but the paper looks too old. Maybe if you set your white balance off of it it would be more white. May hurt the other colors though...just thinking with my fingers again. Good luck

Decent shot but a little too dark IMO. I feel it fits the challenge well. I do feel however that this looks staged a more candid feel would ahve done better for me. I also would like to have seen so soldier in the picture a little closser. .. a Dear Mrs. Doe .. your son private .... would have realy brought some tears to the eyeys. Nice job.
