I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

There is some interest here with the eating of the food in the cold outdoors. Good focus. Nice to see a face without glasses. LOL...It's a good (6) shot to me, and with the entries I have seen in this challenge, a 6 is actually one of my higher scores given.

Plenty of texture, the details are amazing! I like the desat too, even though I'm not normally a fan of it. I would have liked a bit more light on the orange

It kind of looks like an astronomical photo. Good capture of texture. The orange could have a titch more detail in the shadow area. I'm not sure I love the color---I don't know if this is selective desaturation or if the pebbly texture is that color but I'm not crazy about the effect.
