I really like this photo, especially in that while your face hasn't changed much in the year between the photos - the knowledge and wisdom has. Its a nice contemplation on how much we can grow in a short time. :)

I love the sky you have captured here. The golden hues are captivating. I like the bird and would only recommmend tighenting the crop and eliminating the planter to draw more attention to it! Very nice photo, great capture!

Something seems off in the color balance. Maybe too warm? Almost has a sepia tone to it but I'm not sure you intended that. The background is distracting over the shoulder. White, black, or light blue instead might have worked better. With some different positioning that background could have been eliminated almost entirely. It's a unique approach to the challenge, just not quite right technically. Good luck in the challenge.
