Great photo, but I would have reduced the noise just a little bit.

Getting the focus right on the 18-55 at night is rough, isn't it?

It looks like something that should have seeb in a "Star Wars" movie, but nothing's in focus...

Good idea, poor execution. The color is bad, and the focus doesn't help.

I hope this doesn't get voted down for the soft/out of focus and burnt highlites. I think this it adds to the surrealism as appropriately titled. Very nice.

You may have intended the ultrasoft focus, but it gives my eye no place to rest. For me, that diminishes the image.

I don't like that the foreground is so much out of focus for this picture, the back half of the photograph is nice. The color temperature is interesting, as is the rough texture of the rocks against the soft billows of water.

Comment by KaDi:
So other-worldly! Wonderful forms in the fore-ground! Unearthly green rope and sand! Nice capture of the moon, stars and jet! Wide angle really accentuates the swing of rope and curve of the earth. Minor distraction with the water under the rope on the left...would have cloned over it with beach or cropped the image in from the left to keep the eye from escaping the frame. I really like this though---so pleasantly weird!
