The horizon running downhill to the right and the strange lack of luminosity in what should, by rights, be a hauntingly luminous scene detract from this very well seen and basically very beautiful image. 6 from me.

Magnific catch! Tecnhnically, it seems to me to be perfect. DOF is just right. So are the colors.
Love the expression and the action you've managed to freeze. It's an original shot, causes impact and deserves a 10.

Masterful photograph! Emotionaly this was not my favorite, it kept drawing me back to it. It nails the challenge and is superb in photographic quality and skill. Depth of field is wonderful and focus is amazing. When I vote, I vote very intensly by process of elimination and graduation. The best photo in the challenge will only receive a 4 from me if it does not meet the challenge. So for me 1-4 is the scale for the rejects. Then I start with the 5's and begin to push my favorites up to ten, each step has fewer entries until I have my 10. In this challenge, you were my 10. I know i will see this in the top 10, maybe top 5, GREAT JOB!!!!
