neat concept I just am not so sure on the light in the BG. I would have personally rather not seen where the light was comming from. This is of course only my opinion. I don't think my shot is this good.

This could be a good idea/subject. There are interesting colors and shapes in the various houses. I think possibly a different perspective/angle might make for a stronger photo. This shot seems a little weak compositionally, and that tree right smack in the middle of everything, especially with the top cut off, just seems to be a big distracting element.
