The cyan/blue hue of the hills in the background is a major distraction IMO. IMO should have been corrected. The problem with HDR is that many unwanted artifacts can be generated in the process which at times needs to be corrected. Overall the subject is excellent for HDR , but currently the overall composition is a little flat and lacks excitement. 6

What a great lake to photograph. I love the leafless trees just sticking out of the water against the soft, misty hills in the background and the reflections in the lake complete it perfectly! Made for b/w!

Great building full of many possible photographs. WIth this angleI think you need to crop out some of the empty foreground, at the time of capture I would have tried to get closer maybe more on the right and taken the capture from there. I guess you did not want to do that to scare the galahs away.
