Did you blur the sky in editing? Just curious because this image sort of has a tilt shift effect because of the blurring in the sky. Was that intentional? Its a very curious interesting effect!

I love the shift in colour scheme between the petals and centre - all delicate pastel shades. I love magnolias of all sorts, one of the big stars of Spring. We lost ours during the years of drought. It died little by little but if it could only have hung on for one more season it would have had plenty of rain to recuperate.

I have quite a bit of stained glass in my home - it's always beautiful to look though or at. Its an interesting composition, but perhaps a little cluttered in the background from this angle.

I really like the delicate colours and softening shadows of this shot. I might have chosen to edit out the small spider web visible just over the stamen, but that just me. Lovely flower.
