Good job of getting in close! Overall I like this shot a lot, but I have a couple suggestions. I might have cropped JUST the runner, eliminating much of the rest of the image. It's not always easy to accomplish, but this would have been better with a shallower depth of field -- as it is, the spectators are in good enough focus that they really compete for attention with the subject.

this feels too messy, you really need to lose the background by using a shllow dof and a large apperture
