The Lonely Fishermanby jdannelsComment by Arancha: I like the upper half of the picture, the effect of the sky and the background blend well, with the bridge leading towards them.
The fisherman looks too light though, like if it doesn't belong with the rest of the picture. |

Nice capture overall, and I really like the fact that there isn't any major post-processing trickery going on here (if there is, you've fooled me!).

west coast fogby jdannelsComment by Tim: I love the details in the foreground and the sky, but as a whole it feels a bit unbalanced. Prehaps from a lower angle would have increased the shadowy foreground and brought the highlights a bit lower in the composition? |

I think it would be a stronger image if you cropped or cloned out the out of focus scrub at the bottom.
