Man, like nature, must also be tamedby slimComment by cghubbell: Don't complicate a picture that stands on its own with too many words in the title... Nice colors, but it looks like this may have been handheld? A bit of detail is lost, especially visible on the boat. |

It's a nice picture but after the 20th the wow factor is gone (not your fault)

Man, like nature, must also be tamedby slimComment by C-Fox: I would have rather the boat been less central. As it is my eyes go to it and stick rather then viewing the rest of the wonderful colors. Still there are wonderful colors to see. The sky is a bit white but short of a graduated filter or a polarizer this would have been hard to fix. |

Man, like nature, must also be tamedby slimComment by dclarke: The one small problem I have with this picture is that the waterline is not level, if you rotated this picture just a bit to the right and made the waterline level I think I would have scored this a point higher. |

Crater Lake, ORby slimComment by MrAkamai: Contrast lacks depth and the clouds' details are blown out. Seems like there is a bluish cast over the entire photo and is most apparent over the hills in the background. |

Crater Lake, ORby slimComment by sfalice: This is a good effort to photograph Crater Lake. Maybe a bit soft and maybe another aperture opening would have helped especially with your tripod or some other support, but still quite nice. |
