ziti repeatiby shutterflyComment by Anachronite: wild rhythm.. must be rock and roll... great lighting... great dof and good focus.. for the challenge I would like something more repetitive rather than all broken up... just my opinion though.. wait I just say the blue bubble shot and I liked it even though it was broken up.. maybe for this then if you backed up a bit showing more pasta there would be a greater sense of rhythm? not really sure.. but it might be worth a try |

somebody loves meby shutterflyComment by Annida: Good shot. The white in the background is so stark, it looks a bit over exposed, but it definitely brings the subject out well. I like how I can see the blue of her eyes, and the sparkle in them. The roses are lovely too. 'well done.' -annida |

somebody loves meby shutterflyComment by cq107: I think this photo looks more like a mug shot,... why you ask? the background...
most good potratures have a non-static background, ie a park... something that will give the photo depth without adding complexity to the shot... take for instance the bride and groom shot for this challenge... put them infront of this wall... same pose, same angle... lets just say it wouldn't have turned out as good as it does with the dead winter "foliage" |

happy babyby shutterflyComment by teachme53: As I'm sure you are aware taking pictures of babies can be difficult. Using a flash instead of available light makes it even more difficult because of their light colored skin and eyes. Something else you might encorporate into your photos is props. These items can help tell a story or add depth to a picture. Taking pictures of babies is so challenging because as one of the treads said, "Everybody has a million of these." So the competition is tough and planning is the key. Luckily you have a sweetie to photograph which gives you an edge. Now, how can you make your picture different than anyone elses? Quite the challenge.JG |
