I think what works for me in your photo is that the colors of the feathers and of your background are pretty much the same shades, produces a monotone feel (even though i see it is not one color : ) ) The similarities in color also help the feathers look like they are floating which gives it a light airy feel, hence supporting your title nicely, nice shot.

I like the viewpoint of this photo and the way you've fit in both wheels into the frame. However, I find that underexposure of the car has obscured detail...there is just too much negative space. I think had you exposed properly, your choice of B&W would be perfect. Unrealized potential.

I'm sure you've heard this from bunches of people, but I'm not sure I'd consider this nude. It is a nice photo tho, and you've done a good job with the desaturation. Seeing as mine is not really a "nude" either, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. -7

Nice idea with the limited range of colours but the light, presumably the sun, is too harsh and fine detail has been lost because of this. It might be worth trying a similar shot earlier or later in the day.
