A very good macro shot. However, the details on the glass is sharper than the little beettle. Suggestion: Focus on the beetle first, lock the exposure, than recompose your shot. Overall 7.

very interesting photo. good comp. and color. i like the cotrasting colors. i might have cropped some of the lower and right part out more, leaving the lady bug and the curve taking up more of the picture.

Is this a lady bug! I've only seen ones with red with black spots! Very cool! Great focus on this little "gal" and I like the blue she's walking on.... very cool. I would have gone for maybe a black background? Also cleaning the ?cup? might have helped a bit. Good picture overall, I like the crisp, nice colors... and great idea. To make it slightly better I would have had the ladybug walking into the picture not out. Nice job though, and good luck!
