Tulip Field Shedby CantiqueComment by notonline: Altho a somewhat nice photo the clarity is off. Beautiful colors but the focus takes so much away from the natural beauty of the shot. The building you have chosen doesn't look abandoned but out of place with the flowers. God luck with this challenge. |

Tulip Field Shedby CantiqueComment by Sammie: Lovely picture, the tulips are beautiful. However, it seems to be more about the tulips than the abandoned building. |

Pincushion Proteaby CantiqueComment by magnon: Nice background, and the flower in the back adds up. However, I think the image could've had some more contrast and some work to make the flashy colors more interesting. |

Pincushion Proteaby CantiqueComment by Tuckersmom: Those are definitely some lines, just wish the plant on the right wasn't there, it competes with your subject for attention. |

Pincushion Proteaby CantiqueComment by e301: The immediate reaction is that this could do without the stem to the right, and the lower part of its own stem, but then you'd be moving into stock photography world, and we'd all be crying out for different lighting. After some consideration of this, I think that to really emphasise the lines more contrast is needed - their translucency doesn't help with a sense of texture, a sense of really being able to touch the thing. |
