aloneby LanSnakeComment by LanSnake: Thanks for all of the interesting comments on this photo. I guess quite a few voters thought there might have been some Photoshop trickery. This duck was swimming in a swampy area, with lots of algae growing on the surface of the water. I agree that the result looks a little odd -- kinda like the duck is stuck in asphalt! No Photoshop tricks required here, just a duck swimming in a swamp looking for food......Alan |

aloneby LanSnakeComment by HBunch: I don't understand the need for the admin. not here. I think that this is pretty self explanitory. The duck looks like it is swimming in a body of water that is overgrown with algea. maybe it's a real duck, maybe it's not, but does it matter? personally, I like it. great use of neg. space. good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~ |

aloneby LanSnakeComment by lightplayer: The grass near the duck bill is a bit of a distraction. I know it would be quite hard to do with digital, but if you were able to get the duck a bit more 'siloetted' it would be a more powerful use of neg. space |

aloneby LanSnakeComment by Kavey: Wonderful texture in the water - I am almost more interested in the water than the duck. In that sense you could say the negative space is wowwing me, but at the same time the duck isn't strong enough balance against it, in the positive (for my tastes). 6, Kavey |

aloneby LanSnakeComment by mjcecil: Wow. The plant matter on the surface is a little confusing, but the composition is great. 8 |
