Ok, I'll come clean on this one for you Dave. I actually stuffed the shot a bit as I had my shutter speed slightly slow so there were a few sections of motion blur. I really really liked the shot and their expressions so I wanted to try and use it. I selected an oval section around the couple in quick mask mode and filled it with black and guassian blurred it at 75%. Then jumping back to standard mode I used the motion blur filter (I can't remember what % now) and this is how it came out. Pretty simple but it gave the effect that I wanted, and covered up the blurring well. The rose petals falling from the top were taken from another photo just before this. I just put the picture behind the main layer and masked them through. Message edited by author 2007-09-11 22:10:05. |
