Very nice textural study that you've captured well with interesting sweeping lines almost made into a pictorial element (eye). I would like to see a bit more space around the "eye" and a little more DOF (edges appear oof). Colors also appear a bit too processed and pushed almost unnatural. Lighting seems uneven and you could have possibly used some fill in the upper right to even things out.

Oooooh .... this is nice. From what I've seen so far, I've got you pegged for a ribbon. Nicely done! I just have to add another point .. The clouds are really hurting the horizontal feeling in this shot .. not your fault obviously ;) but it is a throw-off.
