Fire Playby aznymComment by Arcanist: This is a nice blurred motion capture. The crop however does not do the subject justice. In a vertical crop (removing most of the dark wall on his right - left side of pic), the subject would be emphasized and much of the shadowy nature of the surroundings would be lessened. The alley in the background does not seem to be distracting to me and the face seems perfectly exposed. Bumping from 4 holder to 5. |

Fire Playby aznymComment by Montereykiddo: When I first saw this I thought his shoulder was on fire! Nice capture. I recommend cropping the far left and far right sides of this photo. It would be more dramatic is he were standing in front of the dark alleyway without anything lit up right next to him. Good job |

Fire Playby aznymComment by scottwilson: Ok, so I am a sucker for juggling photos. I think you did a very good job catching the look on his face, and the eyes tracking the torch coming down. I give it an 8 |

Air Freshnikovaby aznymComment by Olyuzi: Great idea that could have been carried out a bit better, but I love it anyway! The composition is terrific and I love the touch of the scarf that gives the back side of the air freshener a human touch. The blurred and spotted bg along with the overexposed figure gives an outdoor urban appearance. However, I wish the overexpose wasn't so extreme and think that focus could be sharper on the subject. Other than that, I think this is brilliant! Message edited by author 2005-01-03 00:39:10. |
