excellent depth of field, beautiful detail / colour on the birds eye, weird bonkers beak, and very nice composition. a seemingly boring subject done exceptionally well and interesting to view. so much detail and wonderful sharpness. 9.

nice closeup for this one, nice details. The background is a bit too dark to be inviting for the eye to study the main subject. but well done and good luck!

Nice subject and good DOF. The composition is somewhat ho-hum. If the bird was off center or something this shot would be better imo.
