Snowby GinaRothfelsComment by jim29028: interesting photo with strong use of contrast and grain, the border doesn't add or subtract for me, well processed but lacks a strong punch for me |

Who's That Girl?by GinaRothfelsComment by GinaRothfels: Originally posted by PennyStreet: I didn't get the title but I do like the photo and the unanswered questions and edginess. I gave it a 6 on first pass, had I reviewed it I think I would have gone to 7. |
The title refers to the girl they're looking at - the subject outside the frame. And yes, there was a girl. I even have the photo to prove it. |

Who's That Girl?by GinaRothfelsComment by 3DsArcher: I like your comment, that has happened to me too in other challenges. I think this would have done very well in Subject Out Of Frame |

Antby GinaRothfelsComment by primabarbara: I like the presentation with vignette and border.
But it's just an ant.
IF the ant were on - f.e. an human nose or a strawbnerry icecream cone - then it would be unexepected. It lacks some context imo |

Behind Bars by GinaRothfelsComment by primabarbara: The big benefit of this shot is that it offers some questions for the viewer:
What are the bars in the forground for? Is the young man sitting there out of his own will? Why is he looking so sceptical? Is he watching something unexpected? Or was this sight unexpected to you? And if so, why?
But I can imagine that is was difficult for the voters to find the link to the unexpected find.
I like it much more than your outtake, which is just something very unsurprising. |
