Beautifully composed guinea fowl, and what an apt subject for a black and white image. You seem to have captured its essence, at least to the extent that we can truly understand him or her. Perfect fade out of the feathers into the background. Wonderful portrait.

Wonderful image. Big focus on the animated upper lighting, a sleight of hand that then reveals the gallery below, the magic of art itself. Great composition, lines and grain. This should be hung in the selfsame gallery, to elevate the place.

Rollover obliterated my comment, so I'll try to reconstruct it.
I really like this seeming hodge-podge, this crowded corner of the garden. The husky vine, if that's what it is, seems to be a figure leaning over to tend its long-leaved charge. The light brings out strong reliefs (no pun intended). There is both an earnest and a chuckling aspect to this tableau. It makes me smile.
