On the Wallby GinaRothfelsComment by Teafran: There is an intriguing 3D effect on the moth that you don't see often in these kinds of images. Great capture. Well done. |

The Birdsby GinaRothfelsComment by Ecce_Signum: Well, my first thought was Alfred Hitchcock so it would have garnished a decent vote from me - guess we'll never know how it would have faired? |

The Birdsby GinaRothfelsComment by ubique: Birds are irresistible photographer magnets. I think it's because they are mostly anonymous, whereas mammals seem to have an individual identity. So that makes something mysterious about birds. And when they are joined together as a single organism, something rather unsettling too. Hitchcock knew that a flock of malevolent black birds was way more scary than a herd of grumpy elephants. Thank you. |

The Birdsby GinaRothfelsComment by nam: My favorite is the one all by itself on the top wire - wanting to be included . . . or happy to be out :) |

Closing Timeby GinaRothfelsComment by insteps: I like how you created anonymity by using strong contrast. I'm also enjoying your framing choices. With a square crop attention to edges is very important. Thanks |

The Birdsby GinaRothfelsComment by streetpigeon: I like the way your lines divide the frame. Handsome light. The silhouettes of the birds against the ominous sky are, well, ominous. The birds on the crosspiece of the pole in the lower right is a nice touch. I tried for a bunch of birds in a tree this morning but they took obvious delight in yanking my chain. |
