It's the eyes.jpgby ErnstComment by Zed Pobre: Very pretty, almost haunting. The wisps of fur coming off of the ears look somewhat surreal. The forehead is oddly blurred, in contrast to the areas right around it. I would be interested in seeing if it would look better with some selective sharpening. |

Blue Smartieby ErnstComment by blemt: Floating smartie? Cool. You might use a diffuser to cut down on the reflection on the smarties. The lighting is a tad hard for my liking. I like the use of glass (or whatever it is) to seperate one of the smarties. Nice. 5 |

MIdnight Snackby ErnstComment by hannafate: I like the use of half-melted ice in this. Not only is it more realistic than the usual fresh cracked ice in this sort of image, it adds a sense of time passing. |

Blue Smartieby ErnstComment by dsa157: cool effect here. I like the blue one hovering over the others. The hot spots on the background candy could have been controlled better though so they weren't so harsh. |

Blue Smartieby ErnstComment by wkoffel: I wish you'd had diffused lighting instead of the apparent flash, so the shadow of the blue one didn't show up in the pile. This would have been a much more striking effect, I think. Nice work though! Fun shot! |

MIdnight Snackby ErnstComment by neverbeaten: I like the lighting a lot. How it complements the colors of the subject matter. More attention could have been paid to the setup (noise or ash or something in the foreground--flecks on cup). Overall a great image. |
