It's Monumentally Refreshing!by NelzieComment by thunderbug: the light part of the cans blends in too much with the background. the top two cans look great, but too much of a relection in the bottom ones. It would also help if the picture was level. |

It's Monumentally Refreshing!by NelzieComment by melismatica: Doesn't sell me. My eye keeps wandering to the top right corner where a section of your background paper was puckered and created a shadow. This says 'stack of cans' more than 'monument' to me. It might have been more effective to use just one can with a wide angle lens and really sharp focus. This is just kind of dull. |

North and South Linesby NelzieComment by Nelzie: A few people said that 'the image might show opposites, but there is no way to tell in the image.'
Okay, you can't see opposites in it. So...
How exactly could I have accomplished showing opposites with this shot?
Do you have any pointers?
Thanks for the great comments everyone. Hopefully, with your help, my scores will rise in the coming months. |

North and South Linesby NelzieComment by beckettboots: Great black and white caputre. I love the difference in value of the gravel and the exposure on the rails. I'd like to see it slightly sharper so we can appreciate the textures of the ties. |
