water wheelby pjangelComment by annig: rustic simplistic feel to this image, and I like it a lot. the moss adds a palpable dimension to thhe textures throughout this one. Sweet composition with the vines acting as a natural frame...Nice Penny! |

lemon1by pjangelComment by smardaz: selective desat is to our time what fonts were to us in the 80's and early 90's. A little variation is great, too much is distraction (like when people discovered all these fonts and documents looked like ransom notes!)
THIS photograph is an excellent example of judicious use in selective desat, in other words there is a point to it. not desat just because you can, but because it draws you to the subject. nicely done |

water wheelby pjangelComment by riversong: Odd coincidence as I'm currently watching Rick Steve's Europe on PBS and he is in Austria talking about water wheels! Nice capture! |

Babbling Brook Innby pjangelComment by MelonMusketeer: This is a very pleasant looking place to visit. The wet reflections are a good thing in this shot. I hope that the rain didn't mess up your time there. The light in the round window in the gable is a nice touch for this. It's like a scene from an old story book. |

Sand Piper by pjangelComment by bs-photos: I thought I would like this better in color, but now I can't decide, I think I actually like the b&w better, very nice. |
