Comment by pineapple:
The angle obscures the bells too much. Otherwise the colours are lovely.

Comment by temba:
Missions offer such a great opportunity for photography - particularly those situated where blue skies abound such as this. I think, however, had you taken this from a different perspective it might have had more impact.

I think the choice to center the bell tower actually hurts this photo, since it leaves so much dead space off to the right. Perhaps moving it to the right would also help it fit better into the rule of thirds?

Photo is too centered and looks chopped off at the bottom. Perhaps a different angle would work.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is ok, but badly composed I'm afraid. The skin tones are far too red, and the greens aren't nearly green enough, and more could have been done with tones and color here. I probably would have converted it to b/w or sepia with attention to H/M/S. Glasses are a nightmare for the candid photographer also. They mask emotion in most cases, unless you can see the expression through them or other things are going on around them. I see nothing that sparks any real interest in this shot for me, and what is there is really ruined for me in technicals. I'm afraid this is a 3 vote for me.

"Retired and Bored" would have made a better title, or maybe "A bit of peace from that woman :)" Either way a great shot and its got my top marks

An interesting capture of a reflecting moment. The lighting is a bit harsh - not that you can do much about it of course. A small bump in contrast and pull down the highlights a little...might have garnered a higher score for you. Good luck in the challenge.
