I'm going to nitpick a bit, even though I really like this piece. But hopefully you will understand my thinking and it will help.

There is a blown spot on the small flower as well as the larger one, and a color shift caused from over exposure it appears. Next time in this situation with the really dark background and the light high like this. I might suggest either a soft off camera flash to light the lower portion of the flower, not enough to make it light even and flat, just enough to raise the shadows, underexposing the background even more then what it is, and saving the blown areas, which would clean up your color shift and add to the shot. I like the fact that you are using a non macro lens as well. I had no idea the 100-400 could do this well.

I enjoy the spirit in this shot - teen girls are the same everwhere.. right down to their expressions.. I say this having a grandaughter about their age :) - as others have noted, the colors are fun, adding interest - I think having the chaotic colors up top works well in this instance.
