wow, camping in the snow like this? Looks incredible. I like where you were heading with the trail of lights but would be interested to see how the pic would look without it, still an amazing image, makes you feel small.

Indian Pipe (the plant in the background)is, actually, not a member of the fungi group. It is, rather, a herbaceous perennial plant but lacks the ability to photosynthesize its own food. It gets nutrition from trees in a parasitic manner. The only reason I know this is because I photographed some Indian Pipe in Vermont a week or two back and looked up the botany of the plant to make sure. I too thought it was fungi of some kind. I like the macro.
