Should have zoomed in more to cancel out a lot of that BRIGHT white! All that's needed is about 1/2 of the ball and maybe 1/3 of the legs. Great idea however.

Color seems to be just right
The only problem is in cropping, you cut the girl's feet off! You should have left them in the photograph. In a real competition, you would have lost serious points.

Very creative and good shot. The shelf really draws your attention with the bright side though. I may have tried a different angle or lighting to mute it down a bit.
