Absolutely beautiful... I'm such a sucker for dog pictures, and this one is done very well, both they eyes and the nose are all in focus very well, and it's almost like I can feel the softness of the fur on his neck. 8

Composition: Might have preferred the dog slightly further to the left. Otherwise good.
Technical: In colour I think you might not have got away with such a shallow DOF, but in B&W the 'soft focus' looks good.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Well done in a shot that's hard to get right (especially for DPCers!)
