Niagara at Nightby Resusit8uComment by nova: Quite beautiful. My favorite part of the composition is the contrast between the very BRIGHT white of the falls, blurred as they are with the slow shutter speed, and the very dark water just above the crest of the falls. Also like the "S" curve of the top of the falls. ...8... |

Mystic Falls of the Holly Riverby Resusit8uComment by wkmen: Amanda - This is a real beauty. You've got that long-exposure thing down to a science. I like your choice of viewing angle, and the exposure is just right. You might think about cropping out the tree on the left, but it's OK as is, too. I'm looking forward to meeting you at a CCC meeting sometime, you'll have fun during the competitions, too. Keep up the good work! Wyatt |

Mystic Falls of the Holly Riverby Resusit8uComment by Tranquil: Excellent choice of shutter speed here... I really like this shot. I wonder if you could find a better angle than just straight on, perhapr getting closer and singling out only certain parts of the falls. Definitely worth a reshoot --- wonderful! |

Forgotten Veteranby Resusit8uComment by e301: Good subject, without doubt. Your photograph - well, it's almost hyper-documentary in style - it is, to me, more about a simple capture of the entirety of the truck and its location, including as much detail as possible, than it is about communicating anything of your own feeling about it. That may well be your choice - inwhich case you've absolutely achieved it - but perhaps it is not the way to score well here. All the technical detail is there, but I would have preferred more of an attitude to be taken to it, rather than this simple representation. |

Forgotten Veteranby Resusit8uComment by reblem: Obviously an old fire truck, interesting to me because my father was a firefighter, but I don't think it has much general interest. |
