The clouds and dark landscape are great. Maybe some careful lightening of the lighthouse could give you the impression of a brighter outlook in the future, or something to strive towards. As it is, it gives me the feeling that everything is dark and no hope.

I'm a sucker for dramatic lighthouse photos. I would maybe dodge the lighthouse a bit (if you have photoshop), but other than that I wouldn't do anything.

Very nice capture but I really think this would benefit from a vertical composition with the fireworks positioned off-center/right. You could just crop off the right half of the picture and elminate all the space that, in my opinion, does nothing for the picture. I assume of course that you have the file size with that camera for a good picture at half size.
