This would be more effective if it were dead-on straight and centered. It's close, but it makes it look more like a snapshot instead of a great photo. But still a good photo, good score.

good chice of objects...the light/contrast could be improved though by chainging the curves in ps...also the the rack is out of focus...maybe due to a large aperture!?

I think the photo you entered in the challenge was the right choice, technically and for the challenge. But this one is absolutely gorgeous; of the two, this is the one that makes me want to hang on to it. I love the multiple strikes.

This is a great shot, and gorgeous. And I agree with earlier comments - don't be too modest about this! It is a lot knowing where to point your camera and when, and being willing to take the time and focus to do so. It sure sounds like this storm made the photography a lot easier than a milder storm would, but that doesn't make this photo any less impressive or any less to your credit, IMO. Right place, right time - still only matters if you have what's needed to take advantage of it!
